| Casa Oasis Experience the Refined Sophistication of Moorish Architectural Tradition. | | |
| |
| The developer and architect chose to reflect a Moorish style in Casa Oasis to create a truly unique home that captures the historical architecture of Mexico. Mexican architecture draws much of its influence from Spain, including Moorish architecture which originated during the occupation of Spain by the Moors from the 8th until the 15th century. This exquisite architecture reached its pinnacle within the walls of one of the world's most beautiful and celebrated World Heritage sights, The magnificent palace of La Alhambra in Granada. In this Palace, King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella signed the formal agreement to fund Columbus's famous expedition. | | |

| The most celebrated portions of La Alhambra are a series of courtyards surrounded by galleries, which create an unsurpassed combination of fountains, lush gardens, intricate tile work, detailed stone pillars and arches, and light-reflecting water basins. The decorations consist of Arabic inscriptions and geometrical patterns wrought into arabesques of incredible intricacy and ingenuity. Blue, red, and a golden yellow are the colors chiefly employed. Sun and wind are freely admitted, and the whole effect is one of the most airy lightness and grace. The building exterior is left plain and austere to contrast with the splendor of the interior. | | |

| Casa Oasis captures this with its own extensive tile work, cusped arches, domes and a quiet courtyard. The exterior of Casa Oasis is simple and linear, while the interior balances basic earth tones with splashy highly styled, geometric patterned Talavera tile. Talavera tile, thought to originate in Mexico, actually was initially manufactured in the ancient city of Talavera de la Reina (outside of Toledo), which has a centuries-old tradition of Moorish inspired glazed ceramics. The Spanish Conquistadors introduced this beautiful Talavera artwork to Mexico during the 15th century. | | | | |

| Light, water and botanical beauty play an important role in Moorish architecture by creating a calm and relaxing 'oasis' within the walls of a home. Casa Oasis stays true to this tradition by using fountains, pools and a dramatic waterfall to reflect natural light and peaceful, private central courtyard to create a special atmosphere within its walls. | | |
